Are the items classified according to the difficulty level: high, medium and low?
The HKEAA will assess the difficulty level of items according to the data obtained from the pretests. The Test Development Committees will handle these data based on the specific features of their respective subjects. At present, teachers can generate Mathematics items according to their difficulty level.

How will the data of the 'Student Assessment' be processed and stored?
After the students complete the assessment, the computer system will generate reports on students' performance for both teachers and students. The data of the "Student Assessment" will be stored in the server of the HKEAA. If necessary, schools can also make back-up copies for their own use.

Are there any training courses provided for teachers?
The HKEAA will organize seminars for schools to introduce the "Student Assessment" and provide training for teaching staff on assessment administration. The "BCA Website" was launched to provide teachers with update information on BCA. This aims to enhance teachers' understanding of web-based assessments. Teachers can also access the website of the "Web-based Assessment Demo Kit" to get themselves familiarize with the operational skills required.
